Method 1: Fetch a GIF From A Remote Location

If the image you wish to edit in GIFWorks is already located somewhere on the web simply enter its URL below and press 'Fetch Image'. If you don't have the exact URL of the image, go to the web page that contains the image and right-click on it (click-hold for Mac users), then, if you're using Internet Explorer, select 'Properties' and copy the Address(URL) that is shown. Netscape users just select 'Copy Image Location' A great place to find images to work with is Angelfire's Animation Factory.



Method 2: Upload a GIF From Your Hard Drive

If the image you wish to edit in GIFWorks is located on your computer's hard drive press the 'Browse' button below to locate it.

NOTE: Make sure the 'Files of type:' setting is set to "All Files", otherwise you won't be able to see your '.gif' image files.
